Yukon/Stikine Regional Science
Fair: The YSI helps make the annual Science Fair happen. The 2009
Science Fair will take place Saturday, December 5 in the Yukon College
cafeteria. For more information, and results from the 2009 Canada-wide Science Fair,

Past Activities
Northern Research Week: The Yukon
Science Institute, in co-operation with the Royal Canadian Geographical
Society and the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC),
organized public lectures and events during this November 2004 celebration
of science, which was highlighted by the visit to the Yukon of the eminent
Canadian researchers who hold NSERC Northern Research Chairs.
Northern
Latitudes Mining Reclamation Workshop: The Yukon Science Institute presented the first of these biennial workshops, September 30 to October
3, 2001.
Arctic Science 2000: Crossing Borders - Science
and Community: The YSI hosted this 51st AAAS Arctic Science
Conference September 21-24, 2000, in Whitehorse.
